About Me

I was educated in many countries around the world, including Asia and South Africa. I grew up with two siblings and am a mother of two, a son and a daughter. Also blessed as a grandmother of three.

I very much enjoy cooking, going to the movies, yoga, travelling, walking, and spending time with my friends and family.I enjoy helping people in many ways and believe that laughter is good for the soul.

I hold a degree as a Mental Health Social Worker and a Master’s degree in Counselling and Psychotherapy. Additionally, I hold a post-graduate diploma in Family Dispute Resolution and am a qualified Justice of the Peace.

My background of 10 years, as a highly skilled communicator, has allowed me to promote and develop the best interests and welfare for my clients.

I believe that active listening and strong encouragement are the best ways to build a therapeutic relationship with my clients. It is in this way that I am able to offer a safe, confidential and non-judgemental space for all clients.

Evidence based therapies, the gold standard in mental health, are used to increase the quality of treatment practices and accountability.
